Jim is survived by his wife of 43 years Lynn Snider Lane, son Todd William Lane and wife Pamela Lane, daughters Denise Celeste Lane and Cynthia Sue Lane Cromier and her husband Russ Cromier and grandsons Sean, Ryan, and Derik.

Kenneth Frank Piper, 92, of Horseshoe Bay passed away December 24, 2011. He was born to Guy and Laura Piper on November 5, 1919 in Manteca California.
He had been a fireman for 18 years in Piedmont California and a race official for NASCAR. He was an avid golfer till the age of 90, loved watching sports on TV especially NASCAR races and football.

He served in the Marines during World War II. He graduated from the University of Houston in 1952 with a BA, attended the first police academy in Houston, attended FBI Academy and later owned Walker Industries.

The former husband and a father to two Horseshoe Bay residents has died. William Curtis Walker, age 87, died Tuesday morning in Abilene. He had been experiencing health problems for several months, finally succumbing to complications from pneumonia.
Mr. Walker was married to Catherine Elizabeth McKenzie Walker of 101 Western Spur in Horseshoe Bay from 1945 to 1978.
