Solid police work and community support resulted in the arrest of Aaron Jenkins, 21, of Horseshoe Bay, relating to multiple burglaries at Bay Pharmacy.
After two break-ins at Bay Pharmacy in January and a third on Valentine’s Day, the HSB Police Department initiated round the clock surveillance of the business.
On March 6, shortly after midnight, a HSB police officer on surveillance assignment saw a van pull into a parking lot adjacent to Bay Pharmacy.

After the deadline to receive overseas ballots passed at 5 p.m. on Monday, March 8, Llano County Elections Administrator Candy Kokernot said no overseas ballots had been received since the election results were announced last Tuesday night.

Horseshoe Bay Police Chief Bill Lane said that several folks saw their names on the list of outstanding warrants from HSB in local papers and have turned themselves in to avoid arrest.
Saturday was the initial kick-off for the statewide Warrant Round Up and Chief Lane said HSB made an additional push yesterday pare down the list of outstanding warrants.

For too many years, the American government, both State and National, have deferred needed repairs of our factories, schools, roads and utilities. Instead of taking action to do the major surgery that was required, they have tried to mend the cracks in our nation’s infrastructure with chewing gum and bailing wire.
