I changed putters and stances and take backs and follow through and no matter what I did, I was scared to death of a 2-foot putt, because I could miss those little suckers!

Letters to the Editor

Dear Editor, On Thursday, 1/21/10, my daughter called to tell me in a terrified whisper that she was hiding under a desk at the Texas State Capitol, because there was a shooter in the building. She then told me that she needed to get off of the phone so she could listen for approaching footsteps. With what I thought was amazing steadiness, I dashed to the neighbor’s back door and asked to use her phone so I could keep my line open.
