Cottonwood Shores utility crews accidentally ruptured an eight inch pressurized raw sewer line on Tuesday afternoon around 3 p.m. while installing a grinder pump and sewer tap near FM 2147. Utility crews repaired the break but not before some of the effluent flowed onto the land near the break and possibly made its way overland into Lake LBJ.
