A generous community helped Highland Lakes SPCA exceed the $5,000 matching funds challenge issued by Roger and Geneva Dalton of Horseshoe Bay. The first day the article was printed in our local newspapers, a call came in from a fellow saying he read the article and if the Daltons could be so generous he thought he could match the entire amount.
