Citizen committee will review possible transfer of airport to city

At a workshop on Monday afternoon, the Horseshoe Bay City Council began preliminary consideration of taking ownership of the Horseshoe Bay Airport. Douglas Jaffe, Jr., Chairman of the Board of HSB Resort Ltd., approached the city with the idea of investigating the viability of “selling” the airport to the city using federal grant funds to cover the purchase price.
