The Texas Constitution of 1876 has been amended 456 times, and Texas voters are faced with 11 more proposed amendments at the polls this fall. Early voting began Monday and ends October 30 for the November 3 general election. In November 2007, voters were faced with 16 proposed Constitutional amendments.
