Horseshoe Bay resident Sandy Whitney (left) helped gather signatures on a petition opposing a street upgrade project in the Fairways neighborhood. HSB property owners Karen and Gilton LaChapelle drove in from San Antonio to attend the Town Hall Meeting on October 8 and after the meeting signed the petition opposing an assessment based street upgrade plan.
No official count was taken, but toward the end of the session when Jim Bigham asked how many of the 300 Horseshoe Bay property owners attending last Thursday’s Town Hall Meeting were in favor of the proposed street upgrade plan for the Fairways neighborhood, about a dozen hands were lifted.
