SRW to host Candidates for Texas Railroad Commission

Three Candidates for Texas Railroad Commission will be speaking at the Star Republican Women’s meeting on Tuesday, February 21st and everyone is invited to hear them speak and ask questions.

The meeting will be held at Quail Point and will begin at 12:30.

The Star Republican Women will host Becky Berger, a professional geologist with over two decades of experience in geology, mining, oil and gas.

Christi Craddick, a small business owner, and attorney specializing in oil and gas, water, tax issues, electric deregulation and environmental policy.

And Representative Warren Chisum, representing House District 88. Rep. Chisum was appointed Vice-Chair of the Environmental Regulation Committee for the 81st Legislative session. He is presently serving his 12th term.

Everyone is encouraged to attend and get to know the candidates. A light lunch will be served. This February General Meeting is also the Member Appreciation Meeting, so bring your friends who would be interested in becoming members and help Star Republican Women elect more Republican Candidates.
